Community Event Spotlight - East Side Playground Builds

Over the past couple of years, Greater East Side Neighborhood Council and various agencies in St. Paul embarked on a plan to improve park conditions in a wide range of playground sites in St. Paul, particularly in the East Side. I had the honor to DJ custom sets for these Playground build events facilitated by Kaboom!

The KABOOM! process includes an engagement period with youth and members of the community to imagine park concepts and then follows a multi-day build process where community comes together to make the designs a reality. Wild Chords DJ Services provided custom, community inclusive sets for six + hour build days and high quality sound equipment for announcements and speeches.

“Working with Wild Chords DJ for our nonprofit event was an absolute breeze. They were incredibly responsive throughout the planning process and perfectly tailored the music to be fun, high-energy, and completely kid-friendly. They made our job so much easier—we can't wait to have them back!
